Two fascinating works by Yves Klein and Lucio Fontana from the private collection of Christo and Jeanne-Claude in the upcoming auction of Sotheby’s on Feb 17th.
Klein and Fontana met for the first time in Milan in 1957, and that was the beginning of a real friendship. In two different and radical ways they both opened up the possibilities of traditional painting.
